Heritage - Património Religioso | Cadaval Cativa

The Foundation date of the Church São Sebastião, located in the central area of the village of Peral, head of parish, is unknown, although the existence of a temple was known in the middle ages. In this church, one can find one of the most interesting wooden paintings in the Municipality of Cadaval, under the theme of Calvary.

Relativamente à data da fundação da Igreja de São Sebastião, localizada na zona central da aldeia de Peral, sede de freguesia, desconhecesse, embora se saiba da existência de um templo em plena Idade Média. Nesta Igrejaencontra-se uma das mais interessantes pinturas sobre madeira existentes no Concelho de Cadaval, sob o tema do Calvário.
